Network researchers share findings at SREE Spring 2018 Conference

Meghan McCormick shares MDRC’s findings during the recent SREE Spring 2018 Conference in Washington, D.C.

Early Learning Network researchers gathered recently to share their first-year findings at the spring conference of the Society for Research on Educational Effectiveness (SREE).

This year’s SREE Spring 2018 Conference, “The Evidence Behind Evidence Use: When Does Education Research Inform Practice?” was Feb. 28 through March 3 in Washington, D.C. Participants explored and discussed adoption and implementation of effective research-based practice.

During the ELN symposium, network researchers presented findings on preschool educational practices and child outcomes. Presentation and discussion topics included practices, processes, research fidelity and social networks.

Researchers from all five network teams attended the conference: MDRC, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Ohio State University, and the University of Virginia. Carol Conner, with the assessment team from the University of California, Irvine, also attended.
