One assessment team developed a classroom observation tool to be used by practitioners to assess preschool and early elementary classroom elements that are predictive of later learning and school achievement.
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Nebraska Center for Research on Children, Youth, Families and Schools was selected to serve as the Early Learning Network Lead.
The Lead provided guidance, coordination and administration for network activities, with the goal of facilitating supplemental research opportunities and disseminating findings to researchers, practitioners and policymakers.
The Network Lead also offered professional development tools for early career researchers, as well as guidance and technical assistance to early childhood practitioners and Preschool Development Grantees.
